Very nice idea that mixes libraries with performance art with oral history: I just read this article in Spiegel Online about a project called the Living Library. It allows people to sit down and talk with someone with a life experience that is different from theirs--volunteers sit in King's Park in Copenhagen wearing t-shirts that read "Lend Me Out". The aim is to fight prejudice. Some of the stories available are from an ex-stripper, a policeman, and a refugee.

Very cool indeed. I wonder how that would play out here?
